What is the TOTOX value? Why is it important?

Loading

The purity of fish oil is assigned a TOTOX value (TOTal OXidation value). The TOTOX value indicates the degree of oxidation and thus the adverse effect of the product. A value above 26 is very harmful to the human body.

In a 2011 research report in Norway, only 4 of the 113 products examined in the Rubin research report were below 26.
None of the 4 products were capsules of Omega-3 fish oil!

Eqology Pure Arctic Oil has a TOTOX value of 4-6, which is currently the best and purest Omega-3 product in the world.
